Eventually, you might see affiliate links to gear or products I've used and recommend. I'll always disclose those clearly. If you click and buy, I may earn a small commission - but I'll never suggest something I don't believe in or haven't tested myself!

You may notice a few ads around here—those are Google AdSense doing their thing. They help keep the coffee hot, the Wi-Fi running, and the RV rolling. Thanks for supporting the journey just by being here!

Fresh Air Fix: Why We Turn Off the AC When Temps Drop 🌬️

As full-time RVers, we’re all about staying cool—but sometimes the best thing you can do for your rig is to turn off that AC and open up every window. 🌡️ When the temperatures finally drop outside, especially in the early morning or evening, it’s the perfect chance to air things out. RVs can get stuffy fast, and nothing beats the smell of fresh, clean air after a long day of closed windows and climate control. We make it a habit to: • Crack every window and roof vent • Turn on the ceiling fan (if we have shore power) • Let the breeze roll through for at least 30–60 minutes It helps cut down on moisture, stale air, and that “lived in” RV funk that can sneak up on you. Got any tricks for refreshing your RV air naturally? Drop a comment below—we’re always looking for tips from fellow travelers. 💨 Stay cool and breathe easy, – The McGuire Way
